Task manager and regedit aren't opening. No error is coming up. Already tried restarting my pc.

I ran a windows defender scan and nothing came up.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
  • Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.

  • Press Scan button, do not change any settings.

  • It will produce logs called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.

  • Please copy and paste the logs to pastebin.com and post the url back here.

I recommend that you uninstall the following programs using your control panel:

Search the Web - Yahoo
Web Companion - Lavasoft

Also, can you access task manager and regedit now?

Alright, now do a last scan with FRST. Make sure to check the "addition.txt" box when you run the scan.

Then paste the FRST.txt and Addition.txt logs back here.
