I am following to display the WEP key using Wireshark 3.0.1 on Windows

However, I am not able to see the WEP key although I see WEP related parameters like IV and ICV

How can I get the WEP key of the Wireless Access Point?

Thanks so much
You can't view the plaintext version of the key in Wireshark, as the encryption has already occurred.

Thanks TickTockMan for your reply

Actually you can.

Here is the command in Kali Linux or Ubuntu

Code
aircrack-ng -z filename.pcap
Nope. That starts the process for cracking WEP. It is NOT the plaintext key itself.

Agreed, you are cracking the password WEP is not in plaintext, the AP sends a cleartext challenge message which is then encrypted based upon the key then sends it back of course the response is either accepted or declined.
