BAT $2 in 2020

BAT to 2$? not that crazy of a call

project is popular, product is getting used a lot, shilled everywhere + if btc goes up to 20K+ again its gonna be 2$+ just bc of that sat value
BAT and the Brave browser are going to change everything.

Currently a lot of people use ad blockers. But what if you were paid for all those ads you see?

And instead of paying Google Adwords all their money you instead used BAT to advertise on the Brave Ad Network?

Publishers are going to want to use BAT to advertise. Viewers are going to earn BAT from the browser. There is a lot of win here for the future of BAT.

Online ad revenue is well past $100 Billion annually just for Google.

Quote:Google Ads has evolved into Google's main source of revenue, contributing to Google's total advertising revenues of US$95.4 billion in 2017.

Brave+BAT can easily take 10-25% market share over the next few years. At just 5% of market share I'd expect the market cap of BAT to be near 2 billion which is a 400% increase in today's price and close to $2 per BAT.

So imho this isn't just a guess at value. It's hard numbers from a sector with proven profits. The only question is how much and how quickly can Brave Browser gain market share.

the only "problem" i see with brave is that when you are buying ads on there you will not be able to target your target audience because the ads are not following you
if they can fix that i'mma bag up on bat a lot more (when price drops)

if i'm wrong with this pls correct me

The whole point is they can't fix that. The whole point is to get rid of those annoying ass ads that follow you around from site to site.

Solution:

I run a restaurant in New York
Someone googles restaurant in new york - i get posted (like a google ad above)

its not following you around on any other websites or tracking you.

Imagine spending 1000$ on ads for your local business and it gets place on HF.
Or spending that amount of money on ads for your business that only serves for example the netherlands and it spreads it around the world.

Not a great deal to switch from google to brave then

It may not be great for localized businesses which is why I don't think BAT/Brave will ever supplant Adwords for market share. But I'd say they can hit a 10-20% market share which is huge and more than enough to be in a solid position.

big internet companies may gain from it. I think bat still needs development but ey i like the project and the team.

I'm using brave as my main browser on mobile and in the next year picking up the new dell XPS and will probs use brave as my main browser on there too :).
Waiting for it to hit my prediction first. :)

Most other cryptos I would have ditched already. But this is 1 of 5 cryptos I haven’t completely ditched.
I'm lead to agree. Look at the climb over the past month as they keep developing. I firmly believe that Brave is the future. At this point I'm fully invested into using the browser.
This signature is for sale.
Brave as a browser is great. Tipping people and sites is great.

But being realistic, the premise that people will watch ads for money is dumb and will likely fail. I don't see them getting a piece of the pie in the advertising market share.

I completely disagree about people getting paid to watch ads. Back in the day this was a thing on the internet. Unfortunately it had real problems with fraud and the traffic you bought was getting lower and lower in quality until most of the places that sold ads this way closed down.

What Brave is doing is an excellent usage of blockchain technology and because of their own BAT integration with their browser it's perfect.

Why would they watch ads for money?

For the record... I've been using brave and have been earning BAT and I honestly have not even seen one ad...
