Unfortunately it had real problems with fraud and the traffic you bought was getting lower and lower in quality until most of the places that sold ads this way closed down.

What Brave is doing is an excellent usage of blockchain technology and because of their own BAT integration with their browser it's perfect.

It's a great idea on paper and only time will tell if it will work. But I have no hope it will because is kinda of a contradiction with the browser itself.

People download it because ads are annoying, but then they will activate it with hope of earning a few pennies a month? That makes 0 sense. I think I'm not the only who who finds the notification system of ads annoying as hell, even more obnoxious than sidebar banners on websites. It takes one click to take them off.

Where I see this being super difficult to adopt is now, when people will basically click ads to get free BAT, without interest in the ad itself, because the average joe who activates ads are the geek nuts who like crypto. Conversion rates will be low, like really low, not to say zero. And lets not get started when ad viewing bots are a thing lol.

It will be an interesting experiment and I will test it out as advertiser when they roll it out for the general public. I have a crypto website so the conversion rates should be reasonable, ill report back.

At the moment is not possible to join as publisher since its closed to a select few companies, as test. They are supposed to open it to everyone at the end of this year.

Not why I downloaded it. I personally like their stance on privacy better which does include ads but for me it's not about blocking those ads it's about being tracked by them.

I would use this browser even if BAT wasn't part of it. It's clean and fast with good features.

I don't think Brave is offering a CTR. This would open them up to false clicks and low quality traffic for webmasters.

Really? I'm a publisher. Looks open to me.

You seem very misinformed on a lot of things related to Brave+BAT.
I have €200 on BAT just in case. Hopefully you’re right omni, and if you’re not then at least it’s a nice project and idea.

Yes i think that is the case.
Ahh shoot, another missed opportunity.

Oh well, I guess I can just hope to recover with dropshipping!
Bought 999 BAT rn.
I am 100% sure they with Brave Browser will get a good price in near future.
Spread love, make money.

By they way. Can I use your Brave signature? (with your link)

Sure.
I've started investing into BAT ever since I installed Brave Browser. Brave is a great project by itself, wouldn't be surprised if BAT go even higher than 2$ at some point.
My thoughts as a Marketing major: Swagbucks/those kinds of sites are better.

Reason: Not only do I get tracker data, but I also can choose not to pay without repercussions.

That being said, I do see the market and how websites MIGHT prefer this. Although, I don't know how many companies want to pay people to see ads they most likely aren't interested in (hence why these companies like trackers).
