How does having more views on Craigslist boost sales?
I get something like eBay, but not really for Craigslist. Could you please expound a bit on it?

Simply put, you will need to add some sort of HTML Hit Counter to your post. http://www.freecraigslistcounter.com/ (Or something similar)

Then, with my bot, it will view the AD and increase the counter (and gives an incentive to the viewer that the item is popular)

A bit different than eBay, but it works.

Thanks.

Makes sense! Thanks for explaining. I was having a difficult time trying to figure out who and what would even notice for Craigslist.

You're welcome! Of course CL isn't used by the younger youth these days, but eBay and so on are much more popular.

2 words, social proof.
doesn't ebay actually put the listing lower if it has a ton of views and no purchases?

Very good question!

Nope, it puts it higher almost immediately, and the reason being, my bot uses accounts to browse said item, same with the watches. So eBay sees it as a real user interacting with the post. 🤝

Smart thinking! Much better than random views.

Thanks man! Soon, we plan to implement something for the Facebook Market. Although, Facebook is very good at detecting bot-like activity, but we're testing the waters there.
