Hi
1)
Is there any regular period pattern of new hardware sold throughout a year? Like for example new hardware is launched in summer or autumn? I refer to pc hardware. In what season throughout a year is most new pc hardware launched? For example graphics cards, cpus, mainboards and so on. Is there any regular period pattern of most new pc hardware launched throughout a year?
2)
Is there any regular period pattern of price developments of most new pc hardware? For example before Christmas prices of new pc hardware raise. Are prices of new pc hardware on their peaks at the beginning of the launch or are there prices of new pc hardware that raise little by little after the launch?
I'm looking forward to your answers and I appreciate your answers very much.

Generally products are shown at the big tech show (CES) in Jan, or late summer.
Releases are generally not “regular” common times are Q2 and Q3, but it can be any time of year.
There are two major events. As Gt403cyl mentioned, CES is January and has already happened this year. Next is Computex in June. That's where more PC hardware tends to get released. Anything not released as those two events can happen any time. Intel, AMD, and Nvidia don't necessarily announce their products at these events.
Thank you a lot.
How do price developments of most new pc hardware look? Do big companies use any regular period pattern of price developments of most new pc hardware?

The price doesn't usually go down until something else better comes along (usually the next year). There is not a regular time that prices drop or go up due to the quickly fluctuating events that influence the industry. Supply chain problems are common and can raise prices unexpectedly or cause them to go down if there is over production.

AMD and Nvidia have started to use these events to launch and announce products recently Intel will prob jump on top too. They realized the free advertising is really good. The current leaker for AMD that also leaked info that turned out accurate has stated Ryzen 3000 series Launching just after Computex with full announcements at Computex
Nvidia more with showing off fake & gay RTX technology and trying to meme that DLSS can work outside scripted benchmarks that repeat same image.
AMD trying to show off their innovative Chiplet designs.

Competition in any regard always helps us get better hardware for less money. It is a guarantee both will try to copy the other without infringing on patents as best they can to try and win the most consumer dollars.
Well as far as prices go you might get lucky with discounts in a few areas during black friday/cyber monday
Human stupidity : Buying something they have no clue about, and then ask if they wasted their money.

I have noticed last 2 years Black Friday is like not even discounted compared to random deals you find on /r/buildapcsales anymore. But I do notice random huge deals last 2 years around mid feb - early march and I wanna know if it has anything to do with trying to entice people who get tax returns.
This year my irl friend got a 2600x for $160 randomly like 2 weeks ago
wait till next year for black friday :joy: xD

Thank you a lot for your replies.
Have there been any patterns in the past with regard to launching new computer hardware by the major competitors Intel, AMD and Nvidia? For example launching new graphics card from September - November (for example to increase profit or units sold because of pre-christmas sale) and launching new RAM from June - August? In individual cases they can launch them any time, yes. But maybe there have been any patterns in the past?
I'm looking forward to your replies. 👍

What is your experience? Is there a big price difference or is the price difference small between building pc with all hardware by yourself or let others build your pc?
I'm looking forward to your post. ✌

I would look forward to reading your answer with regard to the question mentioned above.
By the way what do you think:
Is having a whole desktop in the cloud good? Is it worth paying a regular fee for having a desktop in the cloud so you don't need to care about getting new hardware?
Will desktop in the cloud mainly be used in the future? Why? Why not?
I would also look forward to reading your replies to those questions.
Thank you ✌
