It's been rumored I am faking stats of HF and other nonsense about HF activity.

I'd be happy to share live Google Analytics pages with the community and advertisers but there really isn't an public view option. Just an export. You can add users to view only but not a direct share link which I would prefer. Instead I have to export and upload to HF for easy viewing.

Stats show we're very steady for traffic and if you had the last version (January 2019) you'd see we actually ticked up.

This is our Google Search Console from past 90 days. I just took it.


You can see steady uptick and certainly some positive momentum because of our SEO efforts. Members can view my other threads with SEO screenshots to compare.

While it's true that members are not posting nearly as much as they were. We actually have increased our metrics on a number of other fronts. Because of social login integration we have increased registrations by 40% (HUGE). Our clicks from Google are higher, that's more traffic for advertisers.

One of the next phases of the change coming to HF will be increased member involvement via their profiles. We have already begun redesigning the profile page so members can customize them. I have already laid-out the coding projects to Xerotic on how new features are going to operate. I expect within 2-3 weeks we'll see major releases concerning them. My goal is to transform HF from just a forum into more of a social hub and your profile is going to be central to that.

When you visit Twitter or Facebook you start by going to your own profile page and from there you branch out and your own profile is the main URL you visit. This is exactly how HF will be. Your own profile will be your main page to visit. This means a lot of content and options need to be on that page. Your Buddy List will be integral.

I really don't want to give away all the features planned but this is a good teaser of what's to come.

A member who was recently closed for ban evading. He's so butthurt he published an article with a bunch of lies and then tried to add it to our Wikipedia entry page. I let him get under my skin a bit which I normally don't allow to happen but the article was absolutely a direct attack towards me and published in a way that would probably convince others it was true. That sort of pisses me off more than it should.

Anyone who is taking the time to figure out whether or not HackForums is faking its statistics or not has too much time on their hands. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter for the users.

It is worth noting that HF does NOT consist of merely posts anymore. We have games (blackjack, slots, Hack Game, etc), contracts, profile comments, and more that is considered activity. You can’t judge HF’s activity solely based on posting. That would be like judging somebody’s Facebook activity by just how many pictures they upload. We have a plethora of stuff to do on HF and while we plan to always add more... the next important objective is tying it all together. Omniscient has been saying it the past year and a half since I joined as a developer... there is a vision. It just takes time for it to come to fruition and that time is now.

Read the topic but issue is even with increased reg the activity seems to not have went up at all. as according to google the average user spends just over 6 minutes online per visit. which would tell me that users join or login to buy an item and leave. as would be interesting to see the stats if hf allowed users to see buying links etc without even signing up.
as alexa shows you should really consider a cracking section on this forum as the 4 sites that have same criteria all rank above this site are cracking forums.
as this month most users that signed up here were looking for "deepnudes"

The number of clicks/users I've gotten from the ads here are really amazing. I've been advertising on many forums from quite some time and still HF's ad beat all of those within 1 Month. I'm more then happy with the results. As always ignore the butthurts Omni. HF is not just a discussion forum now., its an AIO Package.
