I got a quick question been using protonmail but I heard great things about Tutanota also you get a encrypted calendar which I started to use but from another service. my question is if it's worth switching from protonmail and using tutanota ? I use the free verison to btw if that helps.

Protonmail > Tutanota, but you can ofc use both.

Logging of IPs isn't really relevant imo. If you're careful of your integrity then the only logging of IPs you should worry about is with your VPN-provider. If you use a high-tier one like Mullvad.net then it doesn't matter if your service of choice log data.

Protonmail does indeed log IPs, but from what I know, only the user can view these logs and they can also be deactivated. Protonmail can not see any information about their users since it's encrypted.

Gmail is the way. For real though, I like protonmail because it's got a better user interface in my opinion.
