I don't know if it's just me, I've dubbed it "Missing Phone Syndrome", where you are so used to feeling your phone vibrate in your pocket that when you don't have your phone, you still feel the vibrations...
Surely it's not just me??

Nah, not really. Never had this.
When I go somewhere, I check my pockets but I'm not a phone addict and sometimes I don't even have phone with myself.
I get literally no notification and this never really bothered me tbh but I can imagine someone just hears the bell or his brain makes him think and he has to check.
Yeah I get that a lot jelly. Weird how that happens.
Dude, DNA this happens to me about 5+ times a day. It drives me nuts because I would swear on anything that I felt it vibrate!

I don't think I ever had this as I don't keep my phone in pocket rather in my bag and in airplane mode although I had hallucinations once about my phone making the notification noise.

Wouldn't call it a hallucination, I've heard mine ring for a text once when it wasn't ringing, call it a side effect from habitual use?

I've never been so attached to my phone to experience this. Sounds a little weird though for sure.
I don't know about the vibration part, but the phone in pocket part for sure.
No one ever contacts me and if they do it's normally something bad. So I don't have this issue considering anytime I am contacted it's for something stupid or a mass call back.
