How much should I sell this OG username for? Company reached out to me!

I own an OG YouTube username and reached out to the company that has the name and they may want to buy it. How much should I offer? I'd sell it for anything ($100-300) but should I go bigger?

@h*pper what you guys think?
If they are making bank on youtube you should sell it for more than $300
If it's dead then $300 is reasonable, don't go too high otherwise somebody in the company might simply say "screw that just use a similiar name" whereas $300 they likely would approve without batting an eyelid.

If it's active, you have more power.
Lmao so you tell us the handle but try block out the site she is from.

hopper.com

Their current youtube handle is /user/HopperBoston

But they have purchased the twitter and instagram
https://twitter.com/hopper/
https://www.instagram.com/hopper/

You need to find out what they paid for those then do 50-75% due to the type of account.

From 2016

Travel app Hopper is booking $1 million in flights per day, and getting 90% of its revenue from push notifications

Co-owner of hopper Frederic Lalonde
MakeMyTrip net worth as of November 19, 2019 is $2.63B.

Don't offer it to them for free or a low price - they might try throw you a "but you have no content on it" - stick to your guns and tell them their lowball is unreasonable. They will increase the price.

MakeMyTrip reported a 13.6% year-over-year increase in adjusted revenue to $181.1 million for the second quarter of 2020, beating analyst expectations by $1.09 million.

During the quarter, gross bookings grew 20.6% year-over-year to $1.5 billion.

There are currently 2.2 million Gold Rewards members, 1.1 million MMT Black members and 124,000 MMT Double Black members.
You've got their attention. Not telling you a direct price means they probably expect you to lowball, so it'd be better for them.
Ask around, I don't think I'd settle with only $300 for this one.

Shh, OP was going to sell it to me for $100.
The jokes aside, yeah as I said probably worth more than $300.

They are legit the Amazon of flight travel.

Quote:So, if you look at our history, we’re in year-five of being a consumer app itself and have revenue, but it took us six years and we spent almost $12 million building the data infrastructure to prior to that.

Quote: The first version of what we launched was able to correctly predict airfare up to a year in advance. So, instead of saying there’s a probability that it’ll go up or down, we were saying, “It’ll be $200.00 in six weeks. Wait.”

Wanna bet OP is going to throw this golden opportunity in the river?

If you read through the quotes,

Quote: I’ve been an entrepreneur all my life. I started my first company Newtrade technologies in 1997 when I was 19. And I sold it to Expedia in 2002.

OP needs to ask via email to talk to Frederic Lalonde.

Talk to him on a business and personal level about how he wants to start his own company and every dollar counts towards that and this handle could be a huge opportunity for him.
From what i've seen Frederic is an honest guy and he'll understand the struggles of a new young entrepreneur which could help tip the scale in OPs favor.
Don't fuck up OP, this is a huge opportunity.
Don't believe everything you read

Listen to this advice OP. You can get a pretty penny for what you have.
