Does anyone know how to revaildate the mp3s without connecting to trulincs? Also does anyone have the app to delete songs from the mp3?

Did you figure out how to revalidate without the connecting to the computer? Thats very important. I heard it has something to do with shortening out the memory or something but that sounds dangerous there must be a better software related way.

If you have the older version 1.07 then you need an app called "my playlist creator" to make an m3u file & it works with most all music formats. Put the music on your sdcard and open app, set the root directory to mint/external, then select music hit termite next page hit generate give write permission and you good. I'm in ca prison done thousands of songs and made a lot of money

How does this help loading music on the sport clip with the otg disk explorer app. I it puts everything in the download folder and it doesn't have sd card access.

The 1.0 version software only allow you to download music once. Gives that error when you connect it again. Have to load all the music the first time. If you have a phone with root access you can access the MP3.

So I've had this idea that having a rooted phone and running termux with root access might allow us better control of these mp3's. This may be out of reach to most of us but I have a plan. If your phone is running Android 7 or older you may be able to root with an app. I'm on 9.0 so no luck there. I need a PC to root so I'm thinking maybe I could use one of the WYSE thin clients up at education. If I could get it to boot from USB I may be able to create a bootable USB drive from my phone with adb/fastboot and root from there. It all depends on accessing the bios. If I pull it off I'm a boss. If not then I'll get shipped.

If you have root access, total commander with the USB plug in will work. The file manager on the play store with the red folder by Maple leaf will work also. Just have to know where to find the MP3 in the root.

Have a galaxy j7 2nd gen hoping to root. Let me know if you get it to work. Rootable phone that have otg . Samsung j3 2016. Kingoroot works. Galaxy j7 2017 rootable with magisk.

The federal prison allows inmates to o purchase sandisk sportsclip mp3 players that has some type of block on it for as long as they are incarcerated.  Once they are released, the company that owns the players charge them money to unlock the player for outside use

Tried it everything was going well but downloads won't stay on mp3 ... Once unconnected no music found have to hold power to reset when it refreshing no download music.. Just trulinc bought songs..

Folder is probably corrupted. If we can find someone that can edit the APK and rename the download folder I'm sure that will work. Dude here has an edited version of disk explorer pro. Won't share the app.

Same problem here. Was working fine for a few hundred songs and all the sudden lost everything. Unable to put new music on the mp3 at all now. Would he consider selling the APK? How could we modify disk explorer pro? Really need to find an app where we can edit existing files on the mp3...

Not sure how he had it done. I hired a company to add features but they couldn't do it because they couldn't get the source code. Found an apk editor that let me make some changes but won't open the dex file that contains the Java file.
Once the unit starts freezing you have to stop putting my music or the folder will crash.
Anyone adding days where you are?

Not sure if anyone else has had this at their institution yet, but there is an update for your mp3 now that wipes all music that you put on with a phone. The new software also comes up with error messages on the mp3 if you try to put music on with a phone like everyone has been doing where I'm at.
Only solution now is to figure out how to root these things.. I have 2 days before mine needs revalidated. My homie here had his rooted at the last spot, he is able to put an sd card into his and put music on that way. So it is possible, he just doesn't know how the guy did it.

Getting it unlocked usually involves sending it in to the contractor BOP has set up and paying a fee to unlock it so you can add your own music to it.

I knew how to do the shortening the battery/memory, but that takes about 60 days before it "revalidates" with 195 or more days. I can't go that long without music.
