I'm not sure if I already posted in this thread but I keep on seeing it pop up, so I might as well add to it.
I love this site for all of the information you can learn ranging from darkhat to whitehat, and the vast different discussions all going on at the same time. I remember years ago when I didn't have troubles pulling all-nighters that I would just read, and read, and read about all everything regarding philosophy, hacking, cryptography, coding, etc. Plus, not going to lie, it took a long friggen' time to get into the rhythm of things around here and I don't intend on losing that knowledge. I still visit frequently, post a few responses regarding whatever really interests me, read up on HackForums News and reflect on the years I've spent here and everything I've seen go down.

I'd say mainly the marketplace aspect and the fact that mostly anybody has the ability to start making money here, but other than that another big contribution towards people loving HF would be it's reliability/long lasting community. Hackforums has been around forever and when people know that they can leave/return at any point, it allows them to feel more free to dedicate more time to contributing to the forums.
