Why people love HF?

That's because you have to make decisions with blackjack lol. You can keep slamming the slot machine button without any thought at all.
I loved to joined here, because when search tutorials hacking on google, this sites comes up in page 1.
Joined because of the marketplace, stayed because of the community tbh. Also when I joined I noticed that the reputation system meant absolutely nothing and decided to host a byte giveaway for neg rep to prove that it doesn't mean shit. The B rating I can get behind though, although it seems it can be fairly abused I believe. So far from my stay I've met a lot of genuine people and a lot of fake losers that don't do shit except shove their UB3R down peoples throats like it makes them some kind of god. Gotta say though shoutout to @Pronouncer mans a fucking legend and a genuine person. As for the rep, what is it supposed to prove, other than what people think of you in pre-written messages that don't actually give insight to anything? As far as I saw, rep is just another tool to take advantage of scamming an unsuspecting person, and can be easily done through the rep-whoring threads that HF breeds. The reputation system is probably my biggest dislike of the forum.
When I first joined here I spent most of my time in the marketplace and a few other sections but I only really posted in marketplace and sold things. I sometimes would post on threads that interested me and did lurk quite often, but thats changed a bit now. I like reading lounge threads and random tech threads and things like that. I still check out the marketplace often but I am not as active there as I used to be. I'm planning on being active posting all over the forum and in the marketplace soon. Overall, my love for this place is fueled by the community and my love for tech.
I joined 11 years ago mainly because I was into coding and wanted to learn more about password crackers. Ended up sticking around because of the social aspect and marketplace.

I am here to generally be helpful, I also try to steer users to the right thing be it in a technical or moral aspect. Beyond that I really enjoy seeing users who apply themselves and learn, in addition there is quite the sense of community here. I remember a long time ago when I first joined someone was looking for party supplies for their child, and sure enough they found the exact cartoon character for their child. That small example helped me see this more as a community rather than just a place where I relay knowledge.

Edit: I should add that if and when I see something wrong, such as infected software or someone being shady I speak up. I don't like to see harm come to members even the newest member.
I love HF because I make some money here and there from it and there are a few people here that I like talking to. :)

Indeed 💯✌. I expect good updates soon.
Amazing responses guys thanks for contributing/sharing your thoughts.
There are fewer trolls here than other forums.
It was pretty cool the first few years I was here. Rarely visit now though.
Making money is one of the reason for joining HackForums but when I used to get on the site...I see more enough reasons to enjoy and stay here daily,

Sportsbook is one of them...it makes me feel like what I used to do when I was younger and use to gamble real money, but here we use bytes instead of real money. It makes me feel thrilled on guessing who will be the winning the sports I love to watch even before :)

Hackuman...bring me some friends to tag along and the excitement is always there by raising your own hackuman up to the level that you have to go on the battle. Strategized every move you taking on how to level up your pet and keep it alive daily :)

There's a lot of joy in this forum and I must say this is one of a kind that you would loved day by day :)
