Disallowed BlackHat Activity update

There were some additions when it comes to Help Docs.

These were already part of HF policy, but now everyone can find them in Help Docs.

Disallowed BlackHat Activity

Quote:Phishing
This includes questions on creating phishing pages and any marketplace activity around phishing. We don't feel this topic adds any value to our community nor does it assist members in becoming better hackers.

Quote:DDoS for Hire
Due to confusion between legitimate load testing services and illegal DDoS attack services, we decided to disallow this. So we will no longer allow any content related to SST services, DDoS for hire, or DDoS attacking of websites.

Quote:Dumps / Combo Lists
Providing accounts that don't belong to you, whether in trades, for sale, or free, dumps are not allowed. The definition of a dump is a file with logins, passwords, personal details or emails. We do define "combo lists" as dumps as well.

Quote:Refund Services
To help someone get a refund fraudulently is not allowed on HF. No refund services whatsoever for any product or service.
.
Keep in mind that some of those can be discussed in Blackhat training, read the document carefully as it corresponds to the new DBA warning questionnaire.

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.

Peace out!
Great additions.

Mentioning the elephant in the room, however.
Now, when you say Phishing, does this include "fake" CPA site discussions as well?
Most CPA sites promote fake content.

Most CPA sites promote fake content.

Other fraud is already disallowed whether it's phishing related or not. So yes, users may be warned for attempting to defraud others.
Thanks for the update. I think it's fair.
What influenced the huge combo list removal from all the popular sites, and the continued absence of it here?

There's no way to argue a combo list can be used legitimately or legally in any sense.

As SUI-3183372 said, I don't see any legal usage for them.
