Literally can't write my thread

I'm making a thread and when I write:
Basic DOM manipulation - Interacting with HTML through JavaScript

It tells me: HackForums.net security firewall is blocking your access. You may be attempting to post or send a PM that contains data which triggers a firewall rule. While we won't alter these rules or stop these blocks we do encourage you to use Pastebin.com for application code and then you can embed the Pastebin into your post with the [paste] MyCode. Also at top of page: https://hackforums.net/cferrors/hf-waf.html

When I remove it it works fine. Any ideas ? @xerotic
You can try something like this:
Quote:<script>alert(1);</script>

Click on quote reply to see how I did that.

Cut down some code and did better formatting. It really is silly that we can't insert html code. I'm sure there is a reason though, never mind 😑.

Yes, that is what I noticed when met with this "error" page.

Look at this:  <button type="button" onclick="doThis" class="styleMe">Click on Me !</button>
Maybe something you might want to use. I used the [font] tag.

Yep its a good trick to make HTML/JS tutorials.
I did the same is the first post as the script tag will get firewalled.

I have literally burned out my pastebin account tonight haha.

The thing is I only write a line of code or a word for documentation when writing code in plain text.
So it was a bit annoying having to pastebin like, 2 words.
I think that happened to anyone that tried to write lengthy tutorials. It's a security measure so you gotta adapt.

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.

Peace out!

It only really happens when there's a lot of formatting/code in your thread/post.

@OP, the firewall probably won't be changed for this. An easy workaround for this is to use multiple posts for your thread, and then reworking the part that gives problems a bit so it still shows what you want it to show, but doesn't trigger the firewall anymore.
