PC Underperforming with 1080ti - Help please!

Do other games run as expected ? can you post some screenshots of the game settings ? if you have dxr enabled then that might be why, gtx cards can't handle raytracing

I already mentioned in last post that it's fixed and of course it was connected to GPU :)

It's fixed, I had this problem most likely due to underperforming RAM.

Nice, glad you got it working. I'm struggling with overheating issues for my i9 9900k currently!

That's a known issue with the i9 series. Idk about your budget but if you can afford an i9 I suppose you could afford a Kraken X72?
It solves your problem and even leaves some room to OC (which I do not recommend on an i9, so at your own risk)

Whats weird is if I max out my fans/gpu fans with my case enclosed, it overheats. If I take off the top and front panel of my case, it doesn't.. I'm hoping with this new radiator (newer liquid, probably more liquid) it will make a huge difference. I'm running at 5.1ghz and mainly play Tarkov.

I hope that will do the trick. Personally i stick with the Kraken series for the Intel cpu's and Enermax Tr4 360 for the Threadripper.
I dont use Ryzen cpu's.

Let me know how it goes, im curious.
Good luck

I've heard the Kraken series are really good. I went with Fractal because it matched my color scheme for one, and two I know they make quality products. I've heard nothing but good things about them so we'll see how it goes. My brother uses the Kraken and he likes it.

Yeah they're good, if not the best. I used almost all of the models from Kraken and they never disappoint me.....i mean never.
And for the Enermax TR4 360, i havent found another liquid cooler with the same performance......yet.

By the way, are you using Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Liquid Metal?

What is the Grizzly liquid metal? Thermal paste? If so, I'm using arctic silver I believe. Willing to change up of course.

I know kraken is good but I've never tried them. I also got a i9-900K and I went with the CORSAIR Hydro Series, H115i and it keeps the chip at a nice temp at least in my rig. Keep in mind it is a hot chip.

Yea found that out the hard way. That puppy for sure gets up to temps quick. If I leave my case panels open it seems to have better air flow. I think I just need to upgrade the fans + case and I'll be fine.

Yeah you'll want a case with good airflow and a aggressive cooler to keep that thing cool.

I was thinking of something in the lines of the Meshify C or the Thermaltake View 71 with an aggressive setup.
