Is Discord replacing Skype

In recent changes over internet, use of Discord over Skype has been increased. Do you think Discord will take over Skype?

In my opinion, In spite of being backed by tech giant MS, Discord may take over Skype. What is your view HF?

But still there are many who use Skype.

I don't agree flavoral

During lock down we have witnessed, for work from home, many companies had a list of apps and Skype was one of that.
I use both. But most frequently I prefer discord. :D Yeah. It's already replaced.

Same here Born2Help

Even I prefer Discord over Skype.
this has to be troll..

skype ended a good 3-4 years ago, if not longer.

even for video calling, zoom was the preferred method over Skype.
confirm all deals onsite
Discord is mainly for casual conversations for gamers, etc.
I've seen and continue to see Skype growing to be used in business situations. If anything Zoom could potentially replace Skype for university students.
Always PM/Convo me before attempting to communicate with me off-site.
Enjoy your day.

Yeah I must say that there are still many people using Skype until now and I am one of them but also I am with discord already :D

By the way brother don't have any plans taking your eggs on the incubator for the Hackuman game?

This is something logical. ✌

I wanted to put my Eggs for lottery, then I realized that I will have to be UB3R for this. 🙃
Some of you need a bucket wrapped over your heads.

Many people still use Skype, I think you will find nothing has changed. Discord has been quite active yes but Skype will continue business as usual. If they weren’t getting much traffic it wouldn’t operate.

All goes on personal preference.

P.S still trying to work out how to mention people.

Yes Sir, best thing is have it on the incubator and raised your hum then send it to battle.
You may enjoy the game and maybe start going with the HUM award for 50 kills you will get to have it on your account.

I agree with you Brаdley

If you want to mention people, put there name in between '@'. Like I mentioned you as -

Code
@Brаdley@
I personally think Skype has a strong presence still. While Discord may be the new favorite on HF and many communities like it, I still have yet to find a person offline or online (in regards to business-related things) where Discord has ever been mentioned. Zoom and Skype seem to be the most preferred, with Slack being the enterprise-level platform for teams and corporate.

I personally like using Skype over Discord for business-related things, but I could see how Discord would be preferred over Skype for chat related things, gaming, etc.

Noted Yanix

Can you tell me which one should I incubate?
