I promise you, I know people who payed less than that. But I do remember when groups were 9k that’s about the last time i was active was when Vinnie got banned and sold his group.

I hate to say it but I strongly have to agree .

The way i see this pattern going on within HF as of current date.
We have a new generation of members.

1) do they have the money to spend? IMO: (I don't think so)
2) Members have the money but unwilling to spend it. Perhaps.

We always say groups/crews will sell for what members are willing to pay.
This is 2020, Not 2012-2014 when groups sold for 10K or more.


We must ask our self for the ones selling Groups/Crews.
Is this realistic with what we are asking for?

Here are a few examples of whats being sold at our current time.

Then we have one more crew that was for sell recently.

And then we have one group for sell at our current date.

This is not a problem as i see it.

For myself? I have already recouped my investment with both my crew and group.
So it's not a big deal to me.

Problem is exactly this, and I'm not addressing u, I'm saying generally - that most of the members who buy groups buy it as an investment so they can recoup what they gave + some extra money and they don't care about group anymore. The group is just source of income. That's why groups quality has fallen hard last few years

Doesn't help when people also want to join groups just to boost eBook sales.

You get to be the owner of the group, need to buy userbar and so on, and then from there on, the members and what else?

You get your private group, which you can set a Userbar too like the ones you're seeing on member's profiles.

Depends on the group specifications, you can have a set amount of people you can invite and usually a private subforum to post in.
