Hi everyone,

I am trying to setup a new device and when attempting to login to HF on this device I receive the bad 2FA error. Things I’ve done to investigate:

1. Tried new browser (Chrome, Safari, Brave all have the issue)

2. Validated code uses (using Authy as my authenticator) via HF GAUTH page and successful messages come up.

3. Unlinked and re-linked using QR code provided AND manually entering the text string associated with the QR code.

I’m so lost on what else I could do here. Any feedback would be appreciated as I’d love to get this device logged into HF.

Unsure what the issue could be here. Like we talked about in private.
Re-linking it was the only thing I could have thought of that really could have fixed it.

Might want to mention that you also manually tried to enter the code and that the device is an iPad.

If you only have the issue on the one device then you might want to contact Apple or the app creator and find a solution on their end.

Could it possibly be that your iPad's clock is slightly out of sync? I had issues with that in the past.

Check if you have automatic timezone set in settings. If you do then honestly no idea what else could fail.
