Just wondering if anyone has experimented with this, instead of using PHP for a CNC, I've started to look into it recently. If someone has, how is the stability compared to PHP?

Python
Django CNC? |

I think the main reason that php is used for a lot of cnc servers is because it's normally installed by default. So it makes it a bit more portable as opposed to being technically superior.

I've started using Django just not sure how well it would handle a large number of connections. That's true, I mean it's not really hard to install Python onto a server, so I'm mainly just looking for what would be more stable in the long run. (Aug 19, 2020 06:56 PM)tsuki Wrote: Django is fine. I'd recommend Flask though because it's simpler. Definitely either over PHP any day, though. I prefer Django over Flask, I am more experienced in it. I'm definitely going to have to do more research into the stability, cos most of the people I've asked have said use PHP over Python. Thanks for the response, I've only heard people say that so I'm just going by word of mouth, I've never really had an issue using PHP as the CNC.
