I've decided to try to grow an instagram page, will try to make it my side project till the end of 2021.

Now this page is going to be brand new, so of course I am starting with 0 followers. Want to ask those people who have experience growing instagram pages for advices. Should I pick up any follow for follow strategies? Should I try to look into a bot?

All the posts will be original, I will make them myself.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Get some hashtag generator. I feel like posts are mainly liked from good, well thought of hashtags that are frequently searched.
Or just buy a bot if you want numbers but nothing else.

don't choose main hashtags like 500k, chose smaller like 50k 20k try to be rate higher in this hashtags. Use location, instagram name contain word with your niche. I'm pretty sure, if I remember correctly, that what gets your photos recommended the most through the instagram algorithm are as follows (most beneficial to not as):

Saved photos.
Shared photos.
Comments.
Likes.

I could be wrong though, and even if I am right this is something that you wouldn't focus on until later in the process. Best of luck to you though, hopefully it all works out for you.

Try starting with the F/UF method to start out

Instagram has very trigger happy spam filters for new accounts. F/UF is a bad idea and also creates follows for the sake of mutuals. These followers then will not interact with your posts and right off the bat, the algorithm thinks people don't like your posts.

Instead, follow a small set of creators in your niche who are also starting out and engage with them with comments and likes, notice which ones return engagement and which one's don't. Unfollow those who don't, repeat. This should help get you started and create long term relationships with similar pages who will actually interact with you and even work with you when you're both bigger pages.

Correct. Also don't include engagement bait in the caption, don't use more than 26 hashtags, use different hashtags frequently.

Back in the times yes. Nowadays you'll get your account banned or shadow banned quicker than you can say "cheese". Do not use a bot, even one as advanced as Jarvee. Do it organically, and be aware if you do a lot of interactions, bot or not, they will assume you are one. Start small, build up.
