I am doing a test on WAN. So, I have got a port forwarding vpn. Ahmyth on kali linux builds the apk with the correct IP and port. But after installing it on android-x86 version 9 virtual machine, I never get the connection. On the other hand if I use msfvenom and msfconsole, I do get the connection. So, what is wrong with ahmyth? Why ahmyth won't connect back? Of course I am listening to the same port.

Ahmyth I never use, it drops connection and package name stays the same name "Ahmyth", all someone has to do is google ahmyth and know it is a RAT. Imagine the .apk getting extracted and investigated and your IP or NODDNS comes up, and ping the NODDNS and voila IP shows. I would drop Amyth and use something else that allows package name such as spymax v2 or something else. Good luck. And I really don't wanna use anything that's not open source, like spymax

How did you manage it (Windows 10) I used all versions of java, different apk files, no spaces in file names and still get decompilation failed.

Newer or latest apk files are protected and cannot be recompiled once payload is implemented. However, they do get de-compiled. And I did it on kali linux. Not sure about windows. But I think you will need something like apktool on windows to de-compile and re-compile. Apktool is available on linux, but don't know about windows. Pretty sure you will need something to de-compile and recompile the apk files on windows. Anybody willing to shade some knowledge why my ahmyth isn't connecting back to me from an andriod 9 virtual machine? |
