is it possible to trace a remote MAC address (on the internet) and get the corresponding remote IP address ?

Question is, where are you getting the MAC address from? Usually only the local Switch would keep track of the MAC address...

What is a remote MAC address? MAC is used to identify hardware, unlike an IP you do not have a private and remote one.

Use a 0day for the hardware associated with the MAC and then just grab the IP the client connects from. Seriously, this thread does not make sense at all.
