I’m sure it’s common sense but if you get DMs from someone about a G2A Bitbay scam, don’t use the extensions and just ignore the user. Trying to steal your Bitcoin.

Lmfao I generally keep 10 feet away from G2A. The whole site reeks of scamming

Well, I have had some decent transactions with people from G2A. But that dude messaged me and I deleted it but it was something spam like and seemed like a total scam. Glad you are making it completely known for the users who may not know. Thank you OP.
I actually don't use G2A because they suck HARD, I rather pay more for stuff like on CardCloset than to buy from them, tried it once and never again.
As for that scam, yeah there were multiple users sending that in the past, I guess they're back at it lol hope noone falls for these scams.
great share, Shrooms!
I've been away from HF for a while, forgot my browser open...
Now, I was surprised to get a DM out of nowhere, thought it's the new norm in HF, but man that looks shit AF
Like really? changing time zone at server from your browser? Does anyone actually fall for this??
Have a cool signature? hit me up and I might use it.
I actually got a DM from the same user about something unrelated. G2A Is a fine service though, I often use it to save like 20% on games I'd otherwise pay full price for and never had any issues.

This is the same DM I received, the extension used to “change the time” will just send your BTC to his address. Pathetic scumbags, I hate scammers.

Oh I see. What a scumbag. Yeah me too, it’s sad they slip through onto quality sites like these.
Get these a lot lately, mostly its the g2a script that injects their btc wallet once you request a refund. Stupid kids
Thanks for posting op

I believe G2A is fine to use, although I’ve never used it myself.
It’s the extensions that are involved in using this fake method, when you send your bitcoins you would actually be sending them to the scammer and not G2A I believe. If that’s not how it works, there is definitely something else.
Just ignore any “methods” or downloads anyone sends you, unless you have requested them.
