So as most probably already know McDonalds released a new chicken sandwich they call it the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I guess supposedly it competes with Chick-fil-a and Popeyes but I cannot say because I have not had Chick-Fil-A and nor have I had Popeyes chicken sandwiches before

Who has tried it so far and what is your thoughts?

I order a regular crispy chicken sandwich but the ended up giving me spicy and I didn't realize until I was eating it but I ended up eating it fully any way.

My thoughts on it is it is no good.

1. The chicken had too much fat and still had tendons in it they didn't bother removing.
2. The flavor was just odd it had a weird chemically taste and also kind of a soapy taste in my opinion.
3. I don't know what the hell they did to the bun but even the bun had an odd taste.

All I can say is better to just go for a McChicken.

If this is supposed to compete with Chick-fil-a and Popeyes and it tastes similar then that is a damn shame considering people literally had throats cut at Popeyes over chicken sandwiches.

Here we only have normal nuggets, also same for fries, just normal....and very low variety of burger menu....

I have to go to Burger King cuz it has way more stuff

dam dude that sucks. I honestly just wouldn't even go to fast food if those were the only choices. better to go to some other chain or even better local places

I love the Impossible whopper at burger king but that is about it from Burger King that I buy.

Hell best thing to do for chicken nuggets. dunk them in Louisiana hot sauce.

It really depends on the country you're from, also if you're from the US, it really depends on the specific branch, I've had tons of Subways, McDonalds, Inn N Outs and some were super good while others in specific locations were shit and tasted awful ...
I myself prefer Inn N Out over McDonalds, just my opinion ;)

As for chicken, I don't really eat chicken lol I don't like the taste, I prefer meat, steaks, hamburgers n such

That is the thing when I was eating it there was a slight hint of heat I was like oh they probably put black pepper in the breading of the chicken. But then a few more bites the heat started increasing and it just got to a point where the heat overwhelmed the flavor which is probably a good thing in this case because of the reasons i stated above.


Some people like spicy food just for the burn but me i like flavor which is why i love Louisiana hot sauce it has just the right heat without overwhelming the flavor.

Yeah I prefer flavour over burn... it surprised me how hot it actually got after a couple bites... everything is pretty average from mcdonalds especially the new stuff they bring to the UK.

I guess they don't have that yet in Japan... but honestly I think Mc is overrated (at least in here), the volume isn't worth the price and the taste is very normal, so I only order Mc as a social event (when out with friends who wants Mc).
On the other hand, Burger King has better taste (and higher price) so only order occasionally, last night I had that 500g "spicy" limited time burger (Strong Magma) which was... over hyped, it's not that spicy, just enough spice to make you taste less of everything without being a challenge.
