Hi,
According to the link shared by LoremIpsum I should not be able to post in the section title "Science, Religion, Philosophy, and Politics" but just today I had a discussion with Heisenberg in the very same section.
I am not an upgraded member, so it should not be possible for me to do this.
Also, if there's a bug bounty scheme here, I would like my bounty in Bitcoin please. Thank you. 🤭

I thought you could post there as a normal member once you met a total post requirement or something and the upgrade lets you just skip that. I could be wrong

Could be the case, but in that case the wording on the upgrade page needs alteration. Also, there should be a page I can read to know what I can do, I mean, if its not much of an effort. 😥

Probably it was changed & some stuff like l33t wording didn't get altered when it was changed. No big deal & definitely not a bug.

Obviously not a big deal. I enjoyed participating in the section. Just noticed that the upgrade page said I couldn't, so I'm letting the admins know. 🙂

It used to have a gate based on "Prestige", which has since then been removed. According to the post, they would switch it over to reputation (which now is "Popularity"): https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5853746
So based on this information, it might be either of the following:
- They removed all minimum requirements.
- You can not post with negative popularity (since you have 0).
- They made it based on your post amount.

That section has changed for requirements multiple times. Not even sure what exactly it is right now but don't really care. Seems like there isn't much abuse or trolling so whatever it is, works.
