lmao, I'm so surprised by the results for the time being (11y/2n)
I did it one time when I was at a customer's office, I was drinking an orange juice when it the can with my hand. Spilled the juice on the trackpad of my laptop, fortunately nothing went wrong with my computer 😅
Once or twice I spilled a little bit of a drink on accident on my phone but every time was fine.
Not me but my brother once bought a brand new Razer Blade laptop and proceeded to dump half of a 5th of Jack Daniels on it later that night. It destroyed it completely lol
Way to many times over my keyboard.
Hence is why I only use cheap shitty keyboards as of now.
If you spend enough time at a computer it's bound to happen to a keyboard.
bro... I bought a new iMac in January and I've gone through 3 keyboards where I spill my drinks.
They're about $100 each to replace

If you need a welder to remove a component from your computer, you're doing something very wrong.

I meant to say I need to take apart some iron to access the keyboard compartment from the bottom, but yeah maybe I haven't figured out how to do it properly, one thing I'm certain is that accessing it is really difficult and all the people that has seen my laptop's inside agrees.

Yes, only once and it was one of these "dark beers". I spilled it all over my laptop and immediately switched it off by plugging off the charger (it has no battery in, so plugging off the charger = instant turn off). Then I removed the back cover, cleaned it as much as possible and left it to dry for like 5 days.
After these 5 days, it worked normally like before. This laptop is one tough motherfu*ker.
When it comes to a phone, I dropped it in a pot of hot water this year lmao (luckily it was not boiling). But it's an XS so again no issues.
Just water, I think. I'm usually careful with my beverage placement on my desk. I've had wine, beer, liquor, and juice on my desk.
Spilled some cups of water. Didn't lose anything valuable besides some sticky notes.

No but i’ve come damn close from spilling an entire bottle of water on my playstation 4
Yeah, I spilled a drink on my laptop before, it was not a fun moment.

Did it cause any issues? I added protection plans to my devices because I really can't be bothered ruining everything

I spilled alcohol on this computer I'm using now 5 years ago and it fucked up the components inside and I've been trying to get a new one ever since.
It just happened on my keyboard where my plate of spaghetti turns down and it's pretty messy and I just throw my keyboard at all :D
