Personally, I tune into them every now and then, but mostly for like anime or cool shows that have epic moments/endings and I want to see other people enjoying certain scenes like how I do. What do you think about them?

Is it a waste of time or do you find entertainment in other people's reactions to your favorite media?

I like them for the same reason as you. Although, some reaction channels I can definitely tell are just purposely overreacting or "fake reacting" and I don't like those. It has to be genuine.

It all depends on the specific content creator who is doing the reacting. Lately, it seems reaction channels can be found everywhere on YouTube and people are literally fighting to react instantly when something new drops... especially music video reactions. The ones that rush to get a reaction out right away I feel aren't as genuine as those who react to it when they can and actually have a genuine reaction and not some overexaggerated reaction that nobody would have to that specific content they are watching.

In the end, I do enjoy some reaction channels as I am a music producer and enjoy seeing how others react to new songs that released. It helps to understand what specific things people really enjoy when it comes to making good beats.

I'll be perfectly honest, I was wondering why I would want to watch somebody watch something that I watched. Like it seems like it would be more about your reaction than some dude's reaction that you don't know. I would maybe watch a reaction channel if it were a screamer or that sort of thing where people might fall out of their chairs lol. Nothing against them just not my thing.

I find them extremely lazy if they're not doing much commentary the only reactions I ever watch are cr1tikal's/penguinz0 as he's actually entertaining.

I feel that a majority of them are cringey. Especially the reaction videos that are doing videos they have no business reacting to. Dry humor only works so far. And when it feels like you're "reacting" to every single little thing, it feels like you're grabbing for money also.

True. I tend to find the ones with the most subs to be the more analytical of whatever they're watching.
