The title pretty much says it all.
It would be nice to be able to buy a post edit for like 50 bytes, when you've already edited a post 15 times...

Why would this be useful? Considering that V3ndor group members can edit unlimited times a post / thread.

It's obviously useful for non V3ndors then right?

Isn’t the perk of becoming a V3ndor useless, if you only spent $0,10 ($2 per 1000) per edit.

I mean, if you consider the 50 byte thread bump discount as "useless", then possibly.

You are avoiding the whole perk / point of upgrading to V3ndor if L33t / Ub3r members start to edit threads all day long.
Anyways, not my call nor does my opinion matter. I'm just not a fan. Will no longer argue with you, as we seem to agree to disagree.
Seems like a decent idea to get rid of some of the extra bytes in the economy but also useful for those who are not v3ndor

Ohh it's a debate not an argument. I get where you are coming from though, but it could also reduce some clutter on the site with people having to remake the same threads when adding just a bit more text.
Like right now I'm about to have to open a new thread and close the old one just because I'm adding new domains to my list.

Sorry for the poor choice of words haha. I understand what you're trying to say, I just do not believe in that idea.
But again, my opinion doesn't even matter nor has it influence on the decision making of Omniscient or other Admin(s)/Staff.
Are you trying to make Hack Forums pay-to-win? Because this is how you make Hack Forums pay-to-win. Petty little fees for things like this is just excessive.
Buy V3ndor and the issue is resolved--Or just quit editing threads so much.

I don't get your point?
You just said buying V3ndor to edit threads isn't pay-to-win but using bytes is? When Bytes is not considered a currency.
Strange thought process, but okay boss. 👍
Sales tags and forum stickies lighten edit limitations.

Strange thought process, but okay boss. 👍 I’ll openly admit that my post was probably in the top #10 worst ones I’ve made. I do have to say that [mention=2774521] told me what to say though /shrug
Still don’t like the suggestion though.

Like many have mentioned, the primary perk of the Vendor usergroup is unlimited edits, but for users who do not use the marketplace it's not really relevant.
I have no desire to use the HF marketplace. Why am I limited on thread edits for tutorials that directly benefit the site?
You got a valid point there.
But how about the Member Contest threads? They are non-marketplace and shouldn't be unlimited editable in my opinion.

It’s happened in the past and it only takes 1 member reporting the issue to staff. They have access to thread changes.
I never taught about it like that. So what you're saying is that if you limit the possibilities for the editable threads (by Bytes) it would be good for the economy of Bytes / HF, as much as it would be safe to use by non V3ndor members?
