https://hackforums.net/member.php?action...id=4078623
this is guy to whom my client sent cashapp
total amount was 30usd
even my client tried to ask for a refund he refused
he blocked me on discord http://prntscr.com/1s3tk8x
i told just give me 20usd and keep 10 still no
what can i do ?
I would not refund if I accidentally received funds. As the user is likely going to charge back either way and is hoping you send in BTC for example or send from your own funds.
So you lose his chargedback funds + The money you sent him. I know it may not be your situation but that's my answer.

yes lol
look at his reputation he has so much awards and stuff
You can issue a full refund within 180 days from the transaction date on PayPal, not sure about cashapp though never used it for payments. It's better to not claim the money because he will call his bank and your paypal account could go under investigation/limited.

I would refund. It is the decent thing to do because one day you can make the same mistake and you need the same kindness back.
I would refund it tbh, But also I wouldnt make a thread like this, This is to bring attention to your situation and maybe pressure him into refunding, he really has no obligation to do it.
You fucked up so you man up to your mistakes and take care of it, The right thing to do here is to refund your client because it was your mistake (Atleast this is what Im getting from this). The right thing would be for him to refund, Does he have to? Absolutely not.

i already gave my clients what they paid for
it is not his money to keep lol
if you get money on road , you take it , but if the person found that it is with you and he comes back to take
right thing is to give back

So basically you accidentally sent $30 to the wrong user?
Own fault. I can see why he wouldn't refund this. It's like he's saying, he doesn't want to get scammed. On the other hand it's just $30 and I would refund it though. He could refund it after a few days to minimize the risk of being carded imo.

On one hand it’s $30 and the guy refusing the refund looks like a huuuge cheap ass, but on the other hand your client had ONE job and that was to pay the right person. If I was him I’d just take the L and not make the same mistake, though that guy not refunding is greasy.

From the beginning I told the OP to chargeback through his bank because I am not taking the risk of both refunding and charging back.
Not to mention we haven’t done any business in almost 5 months, how does one accidentally give out the wrong cashapp?

It does not matter to me if it is easy to chargeback or not.
So because I fear a chargeback that is logic to refund as well? I don’t think you get it.
I am not refunding the money as well as risking a chargeback. This is not my problem, it is yours.

Nothing you can do about it to be honest.
Maybe try a refund on cash app like others said above.
