I was lurking around the Premium Sellers Section , Ebook Bazaar and the Deal Disputes section and I noticed that a lot of sellers have a no refund policy on their products / services.
The thing that bothers me, at what point can a service or product have a valid no refund policy and an invalid no refund policy. At what point is it acceptable to the buyer from the seller to have a no refund policy for their service or product even if what they're selling is either dogshit or not up to that ''no-refund'' standard?
I am going to have a few examples (this is not aimed at anyone):
Example A: Person A is selling a HQ e-whoring pack that has all the things you need to start e-whoring. He shows you a preview picture and says that the pack has over 300 pictures including verification pictures. Person A also says that he has a no-refund policy. Person B is excited cause the pack seems good on the surface and buys it. Person A sells the pack to person B for 100$ BTC. Person B then notices that in the pack there are only pictures from the same angle and the pictures are only slightly different from each other, there are not many nudes and there is only 2 verification pictures. Person B feels like he did not get the product he paid for. Is the no-refund policy justified here?
Example B: Person A is selling a ''500$ per day'' method for 100$. He has over 750 rep but only a handful of B-ratings, but the thread has over 10 pages of replies which most consists of questions from random users and replies from person A. Person B buys the method but notices that the method is a basic affiliate method with maybe a small twist (Bing ads, idk). Person B feels like he did not get the product he paid for, but person A has a no-refund policy. Is the no-refund policy here justified?
The point I am trying to make is, at what point is it OK to have a no-refund policy? At what point is the no-refund policy just an ''abuse'' of power from upgraded members (or even normal members) to buyers who just came to the forum? Do you personally believe that the no-refund policy is just an excuse that scammers use to get away from any consequences?
Like I said this is not directed at anyone, I noticed this is a thing in a lot of threads and deal disputed. This practice can also be considered in IRL businesses.
