Practicing new skills during the pandemic

Has anyone done this? I've personally tried spending my time learning C# coding for private game servers, and a little bit of design/webdesign. I think most of us had plenty of time to try new stuff, or looked into changing our careers/jobs, finding new ways to earn some money. What was yours?

I spent my time during the pandemic studying python. I’m disabled and took the opportunity to learn a new skill beings I cant do manual labor anymore. So far I’ve had zero luck finding remote work but at least i can say I’ve learned a new skill.

How do you like C#? That's a language I took interest in a long time ago and wish I kept up with it. During the pandemic, I just kept on fine tuning my web development skills.

Try finding a project you'd work on using the skill and make you own money instead of working for somebody :)

Honestly I love it, it's really simple once you grasp the basics of it, and using it in the games domain it's pretty cool

Ive been working on some projects but right now I could definitely use the regular income until I’m able to get to that point

I joined a big IT corporation so that I could learn something new and get paid at the same time. I am too lazy to learn anything new myself.

My training started on 30th Oct. It's WFH till december at least. Yeah that's the plan..will look nice on the CV and gets paid too <3.
