I've had slow internet for as long as I can remember. Recently I had a fiber line installed in my town. The change is so nice.

The change is nice, I'm able to download updates way faster. Things that used to take an hour+ now take a few minutes.


What kind of internet speeds do you have?

Pretty shit speeds like 40 MBPS... I need to upgrade mine or move.

That's a bit overkill. Imagine downloading a game in less than a second.

I think at that point you're limited by hardware.

That's better than what I used to have. Decent if you're just doing stuff online, but it might be a pain to download larger files.

But the most I use when I download is around 100Mb/s, never go above yet

Fiber is a great upgrade. I never really buffer when watching anything anymore.
The internet you posted sounds good too. I would image you don't have many issues with it

I can't image anything being too limited by the internet.
Getting fiber was a nice upgrade for me as well.

I live in a rural area and we are limited on what we can get for internet. We can't get fiber optics or anything. So my current stats are:
Download: 50mbps
Upload: 5.18mbps

Nothing special at all, but it works still.

I'm not technically, its cable. But If I'm not mistaken they use fiber optics prior to my connection.

That's pretty solid then. Yeah I don't have the luxury of getting the super high speed internet where I live.
