This is an excellent Event by OP and the Warrior Group. This will definitely improve activity in the forums to a certain extent and also would encourage more and more people to participate in the forum actively.

I will be also participating in this. And thanks for keeping the submission days for 10 days as i was on vacation so would just come to check in and just lurk for a few minutes a day past 5-6 days :)

Not that I'm aware of. It is said to choose the threads carefully, cause once you submit you can't change them. But you can try asking Cap since you submitted old threads maybe he can delete it for you so you can submit new ones. :)

Cap would it be possible to change the permissions that your API application is requesting to, well, only what it needs? I don't particularly want to grant all those write permissions when it's not necessary.
