Do you swear a lot?

(Jun 16, 2022 01:21 AM)Azythum Wrote:  I don't know maybe i don't know the meaning of swear in English, but for me, it's like calling God as a witness to what we say at that moment, in order to guarantee the truth.

For you I believe the better wording would be "Curse/Cursing", "fowl language". It's referred to as "swearing" not to be mixed up with "swearing to god"

Oki I understand, if you're using the word a lot, the meaning becomes less powerful.

Shite is a word we use in Scotland too much I think haha

No really, if I go for a friend-insult, I'll usually go for 'bellend' or 'nobber', something winky rather than tuppence related. I'm a chivalrous gent, what can I say.

I believe that would also be considered swearing, yes 😁

'Cock' is an example of "fowl" language.

I am from Scotland and it seems to be a lot more common to swear constantly here than in most countries, cunt basically means friend in Scotland. Just curious how it is for other parts of the world, and do you find yourself swearing a lot?

Well i do not know how many of you will believe this, but i have done it like less than 10 times in my life up till now. Never felt the need to and never wanted to.

But in Ancient India there is a saying which has been followed all over the world not so much in the mainstream, so its like what we eat we become, and every word has its meaning and effect on us. Like certain words make you calm and well others have a certain other effect.

Oh man i just realised i could write an entire thread on this. I will create another explain what it is that i have in mind.

Anyway long story short. I do not curse/swear and have like done it less than 10 times my life uptil now. LOL
I swear waaay too much. Only when I'm at work or with parents I don't, otherwise it comes in every sentence lmao.
Every day, kind of just became part of my overall vocabulary over time.
When I am out with friends and drinking yes I tend to swear a lot. When I am talking to my mom I rarely ever swear unless it adds to a story I'm telling etc... For me, there is a time and place for it. I also can respect those who don't care for swearing and I won't swear around them.

Not as much, a few times a day but only around certain peoples.

I have a lot of scottish friends and they do use cunt often
Glad to hear we all swear a lot, and glad to hear I'm not the only one haha

Yes I did mate, thank you
Not that often but I need to make a habit of using swear words less. I can't just shout "Fuck!" while I'm out or in a meeting.

Damn idk about you or your business but i know me i do this sometimes depending on how bad the mistake the employee or company as a whole is made.

Sometimes gives the employees a little more drive when a realize something is pretty serious.

It's all about sustaining professionalism imo.
