Just Got Fired...what should i study Next?

Hey Guys,

As the title says it I just got fired from my job for a stupid reason, Anyways I as working as a Help Desk Support Tech. and before I start looking for a new job i keep seeing all these Videos for online colleges/BootCamp on Coding, Software tester, Software Engineer, QA Engineer.... ETC, saying that you can get a professional Cert. within weeks or couple months . My question is, are any of you guys into these fields or know about them, and which one is a good course/career to take for someone with some Exp. in the IT field? Let me know really appreciate it.

I can tell you one thing, depending on how pressing it is for you to earn.

If you really need money and can't be without a job i would suggest get a IRL job again to get the money flowing in so your basic requirements are taken care off. And only then think of something else.

If that is not the case, then are looking for career options or something just on the side?
A cert is your gateway to a job but only if you have the required knowledge. so if you think you have it. you can search here for tech certs. I believe a few sellers are selling them by installing a program on your PC and remotely answering your exam questions.

I will suggest studying networking line and take Cisco CCNA certification. It useful on real life jobs.
As you're helpdesk level, if you want to stay in that field, you probably want CompTIA+ and Networking+. Things along those lines.
aint my sig design skills sick?
go on videocopilot.net and study video editing/creation. use Adobe After Effects and Vegas.

Are you good at math? That's imho the first part of liking coding. People that suck at math usually suck at coding logic.

Are those courses expensive. Can someone with no knowledge about video editing go to that website and learn or is it for people with knowledge already to upgrade their knowledge?

Maybe you should try being self employed. A lot of people with ADHD and learning disabilities need to be self-employed, because there is low tolerance for their symptoms in the work place. They often have high levels of creativity that can help them as entrepreneurs, or in artistic pursuits though.

Upgrade tbh but you don’t need to know much before you get there.
The courses are all free

That's not fully true. I hate math but like how  you can use it to figure out solutions to problems. It's just that teachers don't teach math properly. They just make you memorize formulas instead of having us understand problems and then understand why the math we did works and it it's actually doing to solve the problem.

i agree with what you say

@OP you can always get into coding automation bots and get work with that

Well making money online takes time so i would sugest to find another job and in your free time to study a business online field and start acting
i have applied for Unemployment .. if that gets approved then ill take 6 months to learn something if i don't then ill have to get a job and put a pause in learning a skill/trade or learn part time.

If i do get approved i was thinking into getting into Java/Kotlin or into CyberSecurity. i been enrolled into a Selfpaced online college (CalBright) learning to get CompTIA A+ Certified , already got voucher to take comptia a 220 1001 Exam all for free, on course to finish the other half of the program and get the voucher for the other exam, which I also noticed that the college just added CyberSecurity course as well . which is the reason i was thinking of getting into that.
