There was a security breach in my company. I am a low-level employee and recently had an argument with the manager in public. My manager decided to blame me and called someone close to me and asked that person to tell me that I got fired. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to both my manager and HR regarding this matter, no response or clarification has been provided thus far. Then, I decided it was necessary to escalate the issue by reaching out directly to higher management. The company told me to wait for a few weeks and will inform me of the decision. The person told me that the manager said the reason for firing me was because of unauthorized access.
I do not know what happened and what loss my company suffered because of this unauthorized access (assuming my manager is telling the truth).
I hope to do some research and have a strategy but do not know what/how to do it.
Now my manager stopped all communications with me and informed me that HR would contact me directly. I am worried that the manager will deny what he said to the person who passed the message to me, and then the person may face bad consequences.
Also, when I reached out to the higher management, I was under a lot of stress and told the management in writing about what other people told me. Now I am worried that other people will change their story and I will be in a worse situation. Also, I found out later some of the information that other people told me is not true.
I am unable to get in touch with anyone in the company and have not received any written notifications. I tried to send emails to HR department and received the message saying my email address is blocked.
I do not think they will give me a chance to tell them my side of the story. I believe that no evidence or proof will be sent to me. They may be ready for the lawsuit and probably fire me for another reason. Lawyers will not help me until I get fired. What should I do now?
I am told that at-will employees can be fired for no reason and the HR department has told everyone in the company do not to contact me and can block me if they want.
I have been with this private company for over 10 years and hopefully not lawsuit the company.
The company is internally famous for making things up to get things done. So I am afraid if I bring lawsuit, they will make sure that I have bad consequences for the future.
People I know ask me to leave myself instead of having a record of me being fired. They have asked all employees to call the police for trespassing if I come to their property. What could I do next?
Any support or guidance you can provide during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated.

If we look from your POV then your boss has misunderstood that you were involved when the breach took place, you will need to prove that false to justify yourself also you should ask your boss in detail by just saying "unauthorized access" doesn't make any sense, did he provided some proof to them?
If you've had nothing to do with the "unauthorised access" and you do have full evidence you didn't have any idea about it, I'm not sure where you live but in the UK we have a place called citizens advice bureau, be best going to them and you could maybe fill a law suit against them for wrongful dismissal.
I'm not an expert regarding laws but technically if they talk about unauthorized access they should provide logs to prove what they are saying, otherwise don't accept to sign any document !
If you sign a document that means you agree with what is on the document even if there are no proofs !

I do not know what questions to ask and what information I need to know to prove myself. Could you please help?
Thank you!
Depending on where you are from you might have a nice case against the company for wrongful termination among other things. I have been in that situation, lucky for me it was the client that just wanted to blame someone and since I was in a lead position I got the blame for some shit that I had nothing to do with, issues that I reported since day one. My employer knew about all the issues since day 1 so they just threw me in to an other client...but the "investigation" was interesting and a flipper zero was a "high risk hacking device" among other things...

You should ask when the breach took place, do they have any evidence on how you were related to it? How did your manager came to that conclusion?
You should also give proof on what you were doing when the breach took place, also try to keep a recording of phone calls or screenshots of message if you fear someone will lie.
You should contact HR to pass on all the evidence if they don't or make excuses file a report.
Also what type of breach took place? mind elaborating.

You need to match your proof with the evidence they give you if they don't match means someone is trying to frame you.

Only communicate through recorded mediums or with a positive witness present ie a union representative.
Please consult a lawyer, this is the best advise. Potentially legal counsel if it is cheap enough where you are.
Goodluck

Thank you. My company does not have union. The lawyer can help if I got fired. Since I am not fired yet, I have to try to resolve the issue myself.

DO NOT DO THIS, IF YOU CAN AFFORD A LAWYER GO THERE NOW;
(Your company is alleging unauthorized access, depending on the severity I'm sure this is a CRIME.) Deal with this immediately and swiftly or potentially face SEVERE consequence, your boss probably committed the crime, doesn't know who did or is using you as the scape goat if you did not in fact commit the crime.
THERE IS A REASON THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT IS SO POPULAR,
Your company will take advantage of you, they have lawyers on retainer and the sooner you protect yourself the better.
If you thought you were having a heart attack, would you try to resolve it yourself?

Thank you very much! I consulted a few lawyers, they will help me after I get fired. I cannot afford a lawyer right now.

The situation isn't decided yet, HR is pending to send him the proof as he says.
