Seriously, so annoying. The table where my PC is on is black with RGB lights on the side. It looks cool but dust builds up so damn fast. I can't clean it enough. My air purifier worked a little but now I can't buy a new filter anywhere.
How do you deal with dust?! |

I have one of those dust vacuums with a brush tip so it automatically brushes the dust right into the vacuum port instead of spreading it around, definitely worth getting one!

I have a brush tip that I can put on my vacuum, never considered it lol. I'll test it out right now! Definitely use it, because dust can get slightly damp or moist from things in the air and then it gets a little stickier and harder to lift. Try it and let us know!

If you find a good air purifier let me know - I've been looking at them for the past few months but I think one that has a washable filter would be perfect.
Nice to meet ya.

Bonus points it's a wireless vacuum so it was easy to do so, thanks! :D (Oct 7, 2022 07:02 AM)webdev77 Wrote: Sounds like you need new HVAC filters and your living spaces is probably not that great to be breathing in if the dust is as bad as described. Yeah I'm moving out in a few months so not even worth investing in anything here anymore. (Oct 7, 2022 07:02 AM)Seaking Wrote: Dust it all and vacuum it up. I just use one that's for smaller rooms, but like I said I can't buy a new filter anywhere. Emailed the manufacturer and requested one - or a refund. Do those sprays do any good? True about the RGB lights, but still, even if its sunlight then it's most visible. (Oct 7, 2022 07:10 AM)Eran Wrote: Just did, it actually helped a lot! Sometimes you just need to agitate the dust to get rid of it, and a brush tip will always help do that in a more controlled manner than using a dusting stick kinda thing.

Yeah I'll just add that to my morning routine. I still hope I can find a new filter for my purifier. (Oct 7, 2022 07:24 AM)Eran Wrote: Yeah I'll just add that to my morning routine. You can use a vacuum cleaner to clean up the dust, or you can use a dust mop to clean the floor. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to clean the furniture. It still sucks in a little dust, but it's not doing its purpose. The purifier has negative ions and also charcoal in the filter, but it needs changing. :( (Oct 7, 2022 07:32 AM)Carrot Wrote: The best way to deal with dust is to keep it clean. Guess I'll just do a quick clean of my room every morning. I do have a lot of stuff in a small room (sentimental stuff) so its annoying to move everything to keep it clean. |
