League of Legends
Get Rewarded for Enabling 2FA

Earlier this year we launched two-factor authentication (2FA) to help keep your Riot account safe, and over 5 million players have taken this step to protect their account. We’d like to extend a fist bump to all of those who’ve enabled it by giving them some exclusive in-game rewards. Anyone who enables 2FA, or has already enabled it, will receive the rewards starting today!

What You’ll Get?

League of Legends: Taliyah 'Very Cool' emote

VALORANT: ‘Keep it Safer’ Gun Buddy

Legends of Runeterra: Rare Prismatic Chest

Teamfight Tactics: Little Legend Egg

If you haven’t enabled 2FA yet, you should! Besides receiving these free gifts, you’ll be ensuring the protection of your password, payment information, and all your collections. You must first verify your email on your accounts page and then you can enable 2FA. Visit Player Support to learn more and protect your account today.

This is a positive reinforcement to enforce a positive thing.

These are pretty small rewards, but here is hoping it'll push people to actually protect their account. It gets really tiring to hear someone lost access to everything because turning on a cell phone to login was too difficult.

Yes, but something is better than nothing. It saves accounts from being hacked.

That's a neat promo.

Quite this game 10 years ago and I haven't been missing it since, I was sad to lose my username before quitting though.. I hadn't logged in for a while and they reset the usernames..
