I remember looking the other day DemonAsylum purchased a golden egg for like 2k bytes or something? I couldn't see who sold it, but was shocked to see it being sold for so cheap. I got lucky with my lottery, and kept it going for a month to try and maximize the potential earnings.

That is true. I actually had my eyes on it like 10 hours before the deadline and I told myself to keep that in mind to buy ticket but I forgot. 4 tickets at 1K each. Thats really not how this should work.

Yours was pretty good to be honest. Golden ones should be getting that much.

Yeah I had to actually send Mr Roboto a message and tell him that he needed to enter it into lottery or it would disappear. If I remember correctly, he was L33T when he got it, but I told him he needed to upgrade to UB3R to be able to list eggs on the lottery. I'm glad I told him to enter the egg in because it looked like it was about to die for sure. I got around 60k or so for the egg I listed? Which is more than enough in my opinion since it was my second egg listed. I got two golden eggs in 2022, and thats some luck.

Yeah I wasn't really paying much attention to it as has been the case for the last few gold eggs since skull was locking them up with 10k+ bytes each time. To be honest given the solid HUM I already have and then wanting 1-2 slots available to continually hatch new ones in, a gold egg doesn't really do me much good anyway. I saw that last one near the end with only 2 tickets in though and said fuck it, I'll do essentially a coin flip for this egg haha. Felt bad he was only getting so little from it too, but that's just how it is nowadays with those eggs sometimes. He's got a fuck ton of bytes anyway so no way he cares imo. I think a lot of people are still caught up in remembering how big they were a while back when 1. There were way more bytes in circulation and for cheaper since there were a handful exploiting to get and sell an infinite amount of them, and 2. The game partly in due to what I just mentioned was more popular and played than it is now.

I told him in convo that he should probably list it for 1,000 bytes and one month, but I feel like he didn't understand the lottery listing. I tried to help him the best I could, but I was on my phone and at physical therapy doing rehabilitation for my knee so I did the best I could. 😥 That's why I want to try my best to keep his thread alive so people can see it. Golden eggs shouldn't be cheap.
