Mining solo produces the same hashrate as mining with a pool. Go ahead and mine solo then. Oh wait you can't. Bitcoin ecosystem is fucked with these hacks as it's plagued with centralized third-parties who control every aspect of its ecosystem.

Post a block that you solo mined with in the last 7 days sign a message. Oh wait you can't. In 2010 it was decentralized now it's controlled by conglomerates. I laugh at the idiot miners who just lost their money.

You don't mine because you cannot. Even if you did mine, you would have had your funds hacked from the mining pool. This is like saying the US dollar is weak or insecure because a bank got robbed. (Dec 26, 2022 01:03 PM)shreder Wrote: Bitcoiners have no choice of solo mining, forced to hand over their hash power to centralized third parties who end up getting hacked. Bitcoin is inherently flawed due to PoW. No one is forced to mine on a pool. You can solo mine as much as you want; the expected returns are equal (not accounting for pool fees). The only difference is that with solo mining, you receive the entire block reward at once after a longer time, as opposed to receiving smaller and more frequent payouts when mining on a pool. (Dec 26, 2022 01:23 PM)shreder Wrote: You don't mine because you cannot. Everyone has the ability to mine. You can even calculate SHA256 hashes (and therefore mine bitcoin) with a pencil and paper: https://gizmodo.com/mining-bitcoin-with-...1640353309 Granted that approach isn't practical let alone profitable but that isn't what you're arguing.

(Dec 26, 2022 02:04 PM)Focus Broken Wrote: Yes, XMR also confirmed that solo mining has equal profitability to pool mining: He said it wasn't practical or profitable what do you have to say about that? Solo mining can be profitable depending on the size of your operation, electricity costs, etc.

Mining solo produces the same hashrate as mining with a pool. You also do have the choice to build a house all by yourself, but it isn’t logical and would take forever. At this point mining isn’t profitable. You are either going to lose all your money solo mining, or lose a little by joining a mining pool. Mining pool centralization is a huge threat. ![]()
China: Mining is banned in China.
Chinese authorities: Let’s help this chinese mining pool operation and investigate this hack. 💜GOMINING💜
