There's no news article for this, so far it's just rumors on telegram. But it's pretty interesting because some of what has been happening with the border between the two suggests that perhaps the rumors are true. What would happen if a NATO country attacked Belarus? Would they lose Article 5 protecting them? Would Poland then become game for Russian missiles?
I really think people underestimate Russia. They're not trying to destroy Ukraine, if they wanted to they very well could. But there is nothing to gain from ruling over wastelands. According to Mossad, Russian troop losses have been greatly exaggerated, believably western propaganda. On that note, Russia also has Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aka Dagger aka Killjoy missiles. The Dagger missile range is more than 2,000 km (1,200 mi). It has a speed of Mach 12 (2.5 mi/s), and an ability to perform evasive maneuvers at every stage of its flight. It can also carry both conventional and nuclear warheads and can be launched from Tu-22M3 bombers or MiG-31K interceptors. This is one of the most advanced missiles in the world. Other missiles include the a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) that can be carried as a MIRV payload by the UR-100UTTKh, R-36M2 and RS-28 Sarmat heavy ICBMs. It can deliver both nuclear and conventional payloads. As well as their 3M22 Zircon and Kh-22 missiles.
Russia also has the S-500 a Russian hypersonic surface-to-air missile/anti-ballistic missile system that can target missiles going faster than Mach 5. This is supposedly one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world.
There's also the fact that after the cold war, America has been very slow in developing new nuclear weapons, while Russia, China, and North Korea have been in constant development. Russia currently has the largest nuclear weapon.
With everything going on, I think Russia could actually beat NATO, especially as it continues to waste its resources on a war they've already lost in Ukraine.
What do you guys think? Honestly, Poland doesn't have the balls.

😒 what a pathetic attempt at an argument. If you've got a real argument and not smooth brained ad hominem passed down to you by your groomer media overlords, please try using that instead.

Questions for OP: What exactly is Russia trying to do in Ukraine and why is it taking so long for them to achieve their objectives?

Russia can’t beat a country not even half its size ON ITS OWN BORDER.

It's a shame there isn't as much talk of peace as there is missiles. If Churchill managed to appease Stalin, what excuse do we have?

A Marine battalion straight out of recruit training could conquer Russia at this point. 🤣

Not true at all, in fact after the cold war both Russia and USA destroyed about half of their nuclear warheads.

In my opinion it is war russia against nato, but only with ucrainian hands. If not all the support from the west i don't know what situation would be right now in geopolitics.
Hopefully it won't escalate to ww3...
Saw a study the other day saying that NATO vs Russia would be a 1000:1 kill ratio. Meaning, every 1 NATO solider killed we would have killed 1,000 Russians. It's no argument that NATO would destroy Russia quite easily, the problem is that Russia would be forced to use Nukes and that's bad for everyone. Poland definitely won't fire the first shot and drag NATO into war, they would only respond if fired upon.

Wishful thinking i would say, speaking of ratios, if NATO interferes in direct confrontation with Russian forces, then it becomes a global conflict, and that is why there are other military pacts out there, besides NATO on its own, just kept under the radar.
You think, majority of the planet would allow some 30 countries dictate world order? Sure, they have money and etc, but its not the only major player on the field when it comes to world order.

I totally agree with this statement.
Its hard to find real information. People in east suffer from propaganda, its not from now. Its especially strong in the communist countries Yet, PEOPLE IN THE WEST dont let your selves be fooled. Propaganda exists, and, worst, hypocrisy.
Not entering in historical discussion here, both US and Russia have been committing atrocities against human kind (it even seems they have a fetish for Afghanistan).
Yet, I believe the biggest threat may not even be Russia, but what will come after it.
I heard from some well informed person that China and Russia have disputes land. Saying that a war Russia - NATO happens, wouldn't it be the right moment for China to impose/confirm their world rule?
There is another option.
Brazil
Russia
China
South Africa
India
and lets be honest, North Korea, and with a bit of luck Turkey, joining forces and dividing the world on their own terms.
I read yesterday even, these first 5 countries I listed, are joining in August this year in South Africa to create an alternative to US$
Do you know how was the last person trying to do this?
Send me answer if you do, it will open the door for the next discussion.

'After it' may happen that China may take Taiwan by military force. Nobody knows.
But for now, after and any time soon I can't see that China would search any disputes with Russia.
They created BRICS as an alternative for NATO. For now they have strong alliance. But everything may happen in geopolitics.
I heard that if Erdogan will lose an election in may i think. Then Turkey may start military intervention in Karabakh and that may start war with Russia. But who knows.
The last person who tried that was Muammar
Gaddafi. But in reality I think the $ is already being pushed out of the market little by little.

Joe biden will go down as one of the worst mistakes united states of america has ever made. Americas international policy should have concentrated on maintaining there economic and millitary leverage across the globe, instead of trying to poke the bear. The outcome could usher in a new world order. But there innate hatred for Russia will not let them. It is no longer petrol dollar, and there is even more bad news coming
