Anyone else have celiac disease?

Hi guys, Celiac disease, sometimes called celiac sprue or gluten-sensitive enteropathy, is an immune reaction to eating gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. If you have celiac disease, eating gluten triggers an immune response in your small intestine. I have this and just found out about it, about two years ago. It sucks because I love all the foods with gluten. Pasta, pizza cake, all the good shit lol. Is anyone else living with this? Please share some good recopies or give feed back. Thanks.

No sir, or at least to my knowledge. Its an autoimmune disease.
Yep, there is no cure / operation / medication to fix that. Sadly. Maybe future will fix that, who knows.
I’m not I didn’t know this was a thing until after high school honestly, sorry to hear you live with this
Yes, this sounds like the worst thing ever. I don't think I could live without pizza and beer. I'm sorry to hear this.
My wife has Celiac funny enough, luckily she doesn't take it out on me and she doesn't force me to avoid bread. However, naturally our kitchen is pretty gluten free lol. The worst part I'd say is that all of the gluten free bread alternatives, just aren't too great haha. Like the gluten free bread is super dissatisfying usually, and don't even get me started on cauliflower crust for gluten free pizzas. There are some good one's though, I really actually enjoy the gluten free muffins that Udi's makes.

Luckily for me I don't suffer from this pathology, in any case I've read enough about it. I think this condition obviously leads you to have a very controlled diet on everything you eat, if you accidentally ingest it in too high quantities it could even be fatal, but let's not look at the negative side of this, there are many people who have started doing alternative diets and gastronomic experiences entirely dedicated to celiacs and as far as I have heard about them they are truly unique experiences when it comes to being served by a good chef who can bring back that beauty in eating that you once had. If you ever manage to do something like this I think you will be fascinated in any case, of course I recommend it.
Its celiac disease like an alergic reaction to gluten ? Thanks

So my body treats gluten as an infection. I generate white blood cells to attack it, not just process it normally.

Oh sorry to hear about this disease you've got. I am not familiar with it but it sounds like it's sucks to have this kind of illness.
