Recently, I've started watching a lot of tutorial videos at 1.5x to 2x the speed. I can still understand what's being said and it saves a lot of time. Have you done this before?
How often do you watch YouTube videos sped up? |

Yes depends on video, I speed it up when I want to get to the point (May 12, 2023 11:29 AM)padrino Wrote: I've never done this but I see the appeal of it for instructional videos. I could't do it for content I actually want to watch though, the pitch change in the voices drives me crazy. I know some people do it for audio books but it totally ruins the experience for me. On YouTube, it doesn't change the pitch, just the speed. Have you done this before? I too often venture to watch certain videos with the x2. First of all because they save me a lot of time and allow me to be able to listen to it several times without taking too long and yes I can understand them too, I do this especially with tutorials instead for entertainment videos I always watch them at normal speed but I only do it when I'm bored or have nothing to do. |
