All the emails I get are automated and all the non-American people on the phones have no clue what I'm saying so I end up not getting unbanned, of course. Anytime I try making a new account, it automatically gets banned. I just want to sell on the damn platform. I really don't need the original account back but would love the ability to create a new account without it getting banned. I put in my information and it gets banned.
Possible to get an ebay account unbanned? |

That's what I want to know. It says suspicious activity but they won't get specific with me. I haven't sold or bought anything in about a decade probably.
I had same issues years ago when I was selling on eBay and tried many ways to get unbanned / a new account under my details, never managed to happen on the selling part I can make a new one with my details to buy but that's it. If you are wanting to sell probably best bet is asking a close friend to just sell your shit on their PayPal, or try get a stealth account opened.

About a half year went by, I’m able to sell again now so not sure what happened and how their system works. It was probably when they switched from PayPal or whatever, the new ownership seemed to unban a lot of old banned sellers not sure if it was intentional or not though. Perfect selling record, had a few shitty customers and that was enough to get me perm banned from selling... 10k revenue, a shit set of customers and a perm ban. Damn. This doesn't make me hopeful. lol (Jun 15, 2023 04:46 AM)-Scrub Wrote: very odd, I was banned from selling after making over 15k in 60 days. Tried all of that. I made a new account with my then girlfriend's information but it got banned. I don't know what the fuck is going on. I better just stick with other platforms.
Unfortunately large companies like eBay outsource the majority of their customer support to poorer countries for obvious reason and to save money in employment costs. This then has a huge impact on the type of support you receive.
Discord for example is terrible. They outsource 90% of their customer support email tickets to either India or other lesser-wealthy countries. That's why the response times, rates, and success stories are quite slim. However it all depends on where they're outsourcing. Amazon for example has some great outsourced support, however at the same time they have much more money to spend on said outsourced support (people who are higher trained / more intelligent / have a much stronger grasp in the field / don't mind putting in actual effort) - compared to the reps who will be rude, barely responsive, and rarely help you resolve anything.

You definitely need to reach out to eBay support. They will be able to help you further. Have you tried speaking with a supervisor?
