I think if it's something I really do plan on playing someday, and I have plenty of space. I keep. But I don't hoard games.

Don't fall for a scam, use a middleman!

As a youngster I never had any gaming PCs or laptops, only consoles, yet always had that desire to be a PC gamer b/c I enjoyed being on my computer so much more. Ended up buying a couple games on Steam before refunds existed I couldn't run on my Celeron 4GB RAM machine (No clue what I was thinking) and a lot I've still never played but a couple I'm glad I already owned.
Rust for example, I bought the game early 2018, tried to run it, got 1 digit frames. Flash forward to 2021 I then had a tower that could handle the game and regained interest in it- didn't have to spend any money then just download and play. Rust became one of my favorite games quick too lol.
I've had Mortal Kombat X for around the same time and have never played it once, even though my current PC will handle that game no problems.
Nothing you can do until you upgrade/get a new unit that can play them. If you've bought recently, see if you can return them (similar to Steam)?
You're talking about like free digital games they offer on there for a given month or whatever time period for instance? If so and I was in a situation where my PC couldn't handle it, but I truly did want to play it at some point, of course I'd add it to my library or however the hell it works on there. Why not? It's free and it's not like you have to download it right then.

If they're games you at the time feel as though you'd actually want to play then and therefor may very well want to play down the road when you physically can, than I'd say the bottom line is it still doesn't hurt to "collect" them by adding them to your library and for free no less. if you one day can actually play them, but no longer care to, I'm sure there is an option to hide it from your library. I want to say that's a thing on Steam which I'm more familiar with and actually use, but yeah I would assume it's a thing for Epic too. Even if not though, it doesn't hurt to have them there even if you never play them. For me, the only way I'd feel weird about it is if I was adding every single free game that came along to my library and even while knowing full well I wasn't going to EVER touch them. I used to do this back in the old Xbox days when it was more of a new thing for them to give games out every month or whatever. I'd see it as "cool" that I had all of these more games in my library even if I'd never play them. Eventually I came to see it as lame asf and an annoyance though. Thankfully, there was a hide option on there too haha.

Totally agree, and i see it now only good if u keep 2 or 3 full accounts with games to sell them later.

I suppose you could do that as well haha. I've never looked at it that way as I'd do it only on my main account, but yeah I suppose you could do multiple and for the sake of selling them down the road.

Or at least that's what we have to tell ourselves in order to justify bothering to get them at the time LOL. I wish I could sit here and say I actually went on to play anywhere near all of those that I picked up for free or even bought, but I definitely haven't. I actually don't even want to try and think about the many games I've paid for, but then played very little or genuinely none at all to this day.
