Hey everyone,

Guess what? I'm diving into the wild world of RSPS 🙄, and I'm on the lookout for a squad of misfits to join the party! ✌✌ I'm not worried about funds to get the players and marketing. But, let's keep it real – I'm avoiding other places 'cause the RSPS community can be more toxic than a love potion brewed by a troll.

This is what I think I want to roll with. A custom server (already have a few) with all OSRS bosses/raids too with a nice snazzy feature that all upgraded users can earn "loyalty points" which are redeemable for BTC, Giftcards and in-store/in-game credit (obviously we work on a system that stops users from AFKing loyalty points).  Looking at some custom features, minigames, bosses and zones to spice things up.

Looking at building some sort of custom system which allows players to build there own islands etc. by getting blueprints from skilling and bossing etc. This will in turn, take over the construction skill.

Just need a show of hands who would be down for this? Will mostly be a few month to 6 month side project gig.

Nothing is set in stone, but obviously looking for people who can contribute now for the rewards later. Which we can discuss. Would be nice to build something that wipes out all of these P2W and trash popular RSPS..✌

I would be down to help! I had alot of experience in the past customizing servers/adding content and just help with moderation in general.

I've owned several servers in the past, just none recently. I miss the RSPS scene :P

It's been on my mind too, just looking for an amazing team that bring some cool things and create some sort of long term RSPS. Obviously a mixture of P2W and F2P. A system allowing F2P player to grind to get p2w gear etc. Battlepass with OP things, heaps of content, heaps of daily events and giveaways. Just a snug community that has no toxicity among the team unlike every other RSPS.

You literally read my mind I was thinking about this yesterday.. Really feeling nostalgic about private servers, but also I think my time with them has been long gone.

I do like building online community though.

Same as me. I use to do some development on a task to task system for a few big RSPS some time ago. I haven't dabbled in it for maybe 6 years, looked at a few of the RSPS communities and see leaks, trash talk, toxicity haha. So I was like let's do something, where they all can be like, who the fuck are these people...

I used to own my own rsps perhaps over a decade ago by now, reached about 50-100 players and it was awesome.

If you guys really get something going I’ll be down to be the web dev. I can do all the game to website integrations such as voting, high scores and more.

Custom servers are a gold mine. Long as you have consistent updates and cater to what the players want.

Speaking as a 6 year player on Redemption RSPS, over $40k donated to that game myself lol. Mainly cuz I gamble way too much but also cuz they've really mastered the custom aspect of the game and milk the players to kingdom kong.

That's a concept I can work with, in terms of monetization for the team. Island picks, boxes, OP rares in boxes, donation bonus', but also want a way that players can farm currency or have an option where players can earn store credit etc. Also, great way to reward loyal donators and players with custom gear, they did things right.

Sweet, you can work with skull and I. We want to build a website where players can buy boxes, scratchies etc. on the website and be able to open them onsite/ingame. Will do something amazing.

It was an idea, but now I have a nice team of people who can help and we can actually get somewhere. I ended up working by myself and then got a big job, so left it. But now Skull and I will have some time over the next few months to do something.
