Hello guys is C# a good language to learn first

I'm a newbie in programming I don't know anything not even the basics. I would like to learn a programming language to write programs like RATs Keyloggers and stealers. Is c# a good start?
C# is a great base and once you know one language it's a lot easier to learn a more. if you're looking at getting into malware development you will probably want to learn C which is a lot more of a challenging language to learn so probably good to learn a bit of C# and then when you're comfortable move on to C.
Thanks for your reply. I think I will head straight into C or C++
C# is good if you're doing mostly Windows. Unfortunately it forces you into OOP which can be difficult for beginners.
Is C# any good for writing malwares. I'm interested in Rats and stealers.
I mean C# is a great language to start learning, but when it comes to [censored], lower-level languages will always be the better option.

Great, defs a challenge but once you're comfortable with C learning any other language will be a breeze.
Thanks you all for your inputs I will definitely start with C

Yes, C# can indeed be used for writing malware for sure but as others have said, might be better to learn something like C if that is your main goal.
Take a look at RATS and stealers on GitHub and filter for the ones written in C# or C (or whatever language you choose). You can take a look at how those are written once you're familiar with the language to get an idea.

C# is a great language to learn overall but can be difficult in the beginning.
Okay thank you guys a lot for your honest replies. I have decided to start with C first. I have started yesterday. I hope I can stick it out and finish it 🙏

Anyone familiar with rust? Can be use also to write good malware?

Starting with C. Ballsy. 😆
forgot about c#, go with C or rust
I suggest starting off at VB.NET and then starting up from there, it's good as easy to get started on a small program that's not too compilcated

I want to add to stick with one language while learning how to program initially and avoid jumping from language to language.
Yes, rust is fine for writing malware as well. There are quite a few members here who swear by it.

Best of luck to you on your coding journeys ✌
