Why not? My life could be giving more.
I would like to apply for this position in the group.
I have been in this space for many years my profile has been active since 2012. Not much has been contributed and I feel like I could provide more.
I have a deep understanding of cyber security currently studying mock exams for the PT0-002 Pentest + which I have bought my exam ticket for. Currently getting around 75% off the bat which ain't bad I don't think.
I have been around in cyberspace for a while around 20 years ago I started playing around with botnets/rats/encryption learning how tools work such as blackshades, dark commet and other rats & how to encrypt the binaries to pass AV systems. Which led me down the path I have taken today I have a much broader understanding of many systems now I use Linux primarily. I have done reverse engineering for malware looking for signatures to identify and how to mitigate against detections.
I have been fairly "Grey" during the experience not so much malicious blackhat activities. I prefer to help people. I want to be apart of a group which is doing this so I can also gain more knowledge and a deeper understanding of a wide range of problems whilst doing some good.
My Hobbies would be Gaming, 3D Printing, Coding in Python and other object orientated languages to create bots and other things for fun.
Currently I am learning Image recognition such as "YOLO" so I can apply this to bot creation.
What kind of group activities would be happening if I were to be accepted into this group?
What benefits and disadvantages would be if I were to join?
This sounds like it could be right up my alley.
Kind Regards
