yeah the write protection on that thing was garbage, the current year sd card mods don't require burning though which I like since I hate cds lol

It's a shame they couldn't bring out a sequel and keep them going. I spent so many hours playing mine. I found an emulator site a decade ago that had a bunch of the games and I had a blast getting to replay some of them.

personally never owned a dreamcast but my uncle had a couple of those bleem disks that could run ps1 games on it

I used to play this game called Seaman on the dreamcast where u basically would take care of these human like fish. Shit was weird but funny at the same time cause you where able to talk to the using the mic.

I was (still am!) a huge fan of the Dreamcast. I remember waking up one Christmas morning as a kid and unwrapping it. I was one of only a few kids in school at that age who had a Dreamcast!

Some of my favourite games were Phantasy Start Online: Ver 2, Sonic Adventure 2, Wetrix, Red Dog, and House of the Dead 2.
SAdly by the time I got the internet at my house, most of the online game servers had closed down. Although I have recently heard of something called the Dream Pi, which can connect your DC to modern broadband, and re-route many of the old defunct servers to new online ones.

I'm plenty familiar with them, but never owned one unfortunately. I believe the first system I had was an NES. Or that's at least the one I can actually remember playing something on at the earliest in my life lol.

Yeah this thread actually had me going and looking up things about early day consoles or simply those that came out prior to the one I had earliest (NES). Some pretty awesome stuff from back in the day.
